The primary risk in asset-based mortgage financing stems from the possibility of insufficient equity in a borrower’s property to cover their existing obligations. To manage this risk, we limit the loan-to-value (LTV) ratio for each property, ensuring that we only lend within safe boundaries. Our success is driven by our ability to secure loans backed by significant equity, giving both us and our borrowers greater confidence.

Given the significant increase in demand for private mortgages, Paramount Capital Lending provides private financing across South Florida and its surrounding regions. We have strategically focused our investment portfolio on this area due to our deep understanding of its unique market dynamics and our confidence in the underlying value of the assets we secure our funds against. By concentrating on this market, where we have extensive expertise, we are able to direct investor funds into assets we thoroughly comprehend, rather than solely relying on appraisal values or placing trust in external individuals and companies.

At Paramount Capital Lending, all of our mortgages are structured with one-year terms. Borrowers use our funds to address their immediate financial needs, and once they are ready to move beyond our short-term solution, we take an active role in helping them transition into long-term financing. Our team works directly with borrowers to secure the necessary resources, ensuring their loan is paid off without delay. If a borrower is still unable to qualify for traditional financing by the end of the term, we will assist in renewing the loan or finding an alternative long-term solution to replace the existing short-term loan.
